I ordered a shower rail On Sunday, site said in stock but once I had paid I was informed that it was in fact in a warehouse somewhere and I couldn't collect it until Tuesday, which was extremely frustrating. Ordered a plunger on Monday, same story, in stock until you've paid then a message telling me it was in a warehouse somewhere and could be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday came, along with one text not two, so I went to collect and only one item was there!!! the sales assistant blamed DPD for not delivering it but it is Screwfix that are at fault!!! if the item cannot be collected on the same day TELL US BEFORE YOU TAKE OUR MONEY!!! The sales assistant did offer to refund the undelivered item but what use is that? I will be using TOOLSTATION for all my future purchases.

Bought 2 packs of masonry anchors. Used one which was of good quality, returned the second as surplus to requirements. Cheerfully refunded and pleasant experience. Recommended.

As a tradesman I use Screwfix a lot over the years and never have I had a bad experience the staff are always friendly polite but still fast. Great range of products just wish you would stock more milwaukee fuel

Awesome guys at Brackmills in Northampton. Friendly service and they saved my life tonight by having the bolts I need to hopefully finish a job on the car.

The item I needed was out of stock. Jon from Crewe Screwfix tried to find an alternative but nothing available. He said they had a delivery and the item may be awaiting receipt. He checked, found it and booked it into stock and then sold it to me. He had also checked the other local stores for availability. He could have just said sorry out of stock and left it that but he didn't he went out of his way to help and I really needed that item. Fantastic service and a credit to Screwfix.

Have been trying to contact customer service for weeks have sent emails but no reply. They advertise tools on their site that are no longer available. I have been looking since Christmas and everytime I try to buy it's out of stock and if you go down the list nothing is available. I asked in store to be told they're discontinued but yet again still being sent through as special offers. Shall be taking my money elsewhere.

This pathetic company does not deserve 1 star. Firstly you are conned into thinking your product is being dispatched from Ireland with their screwfix.ie website, euro currency and two day delivery. I placed an order for a vacuum cleaner on the 2nd of January. Which I badly needed (As my one broke down over xmas) After 2 weeks it was still in the UK.I contacted customer service who gave me a GLS tracking number and said when it got to ireland it would be delivered in 1 to 2 working days. The tracking shows it arrived in Ireland on the 19th of Jan, still there on 23rd and no tracking update since thenIt is now 1st of Feb and no item and no refund. They are quite prompt at taking the payment. srewfix + GLS = total disaster.I must now assume its not going to arrive and god knows if or when I will get a refund. After a full month I have to re order from someplace else.So unless you want to waste your time and money stay away from these fools. Shop local.Customer service is a disaster just a generic email. Update

Item 'in stock' available for click & collect 24-48h. 2.5 days later no item, no update.....thanks for wasting my time. Also, when trying to buy something from a website I find it very annoying to have to complete all my details which is clearly not necessary; except for the purposes of harvesting said info. and selling it on to random peddlers of spam. Shrewsbury store fails to send confirmation the order is ready yet again meaning I have to phone them before travelling 13 miles to collect the item that may just not be there!Whenever Toolstation has the items I order from them instead to avoid the poor service from SF

very poor customer service. ordered a part 2 weeks ago for pick up from store still haven't been told its ready. They bury their cancellation process making it difficult to find hoping to deter cancellations. It might work, but it will also deter future orders.
